‘Grey’s Anatomy’: Kate Walsh to Recur in Season 19

Grey’s Anatomy returns to ABC next month for its 19th season and with a new group of interns roaming the halls of Grey + Sloan, a familiar face will be returning; Kate Walsh is coming back as Dr. Addison Montgomery!

According to an exclusive from Variety, Walsh will recur in the upcoming season of the long-running medical drama following her multi-episode arc last season. Addison will be popping by beginning in the third episode of season 19 of Grey’s Anatomy, though how many episodes and what brings Addison back to Seattle are unknown. The news comes after it was previously announced that Ellen Pompeo’s time on the series will be scaled back immensely due to filming a new Hulu limited series.

Season 19 of Grey’s Anatomy premieres on Thursday, October 6 at 9 p.m. EST on ABC! Stay tuned to Nerds and Beyond for more news.
