New Stills From ‘Andor’ Released
The return of Diego Luna’s Cassian Andor is almost upon us with the upcoming Disney+ series Andor, the premiere of which was recently pushed back from its original August date.
Two new stills from the series have been released, including one of Cassian in battle and Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma.
Taking place five years prior to the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Andor will explore a new perspective from the Star Wars galaxy, focusing on Cassian’s journey to discover the difference he can make. The series brings forward the tale of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. It’s an era filled with danger, deception, and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero.
Watch the official trailer below, which was released earlier this week.
Andor also stars Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, and Fiona Shaw, and the trailer confirmed that we’ll see the return of Forest Whitaker as Saw Gerrera.
The series is created by Rogue One‘s Tony Gilroy and executive produced by Gilroy, Luna, Kathleen Kennedy, Sanne Wohlenberg, and Michelle Rejwan.
Andor will make its way exclusively to Disney+ with a three-episode premiere on September 21.
