This week marks another annual Funkoween, when Funko reveals an array of spooky-themed collectibles to celebrate reaching the halfway point to Halloween. Fans of Jujutsu Kaisen can now rest easy knowing characters from the series are finally getting the beady-eyed vinyl Funko Pop! treatment.

The collection includes a handful of retailer exclusives, so collectors who hope to grab them all will have their work cut out out for them. Pre-orders are now available.

Jujutsu Kaisen is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Gege Akutami, and it has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since 2018. The first season of the anime adaptation launched in 2020, and a second season is due to premiere in 2023. The prequel film, Jujutsu Kaisen 0, is playing in theaters in select territories — though its record-breaking Japan run is coming to an end this month. A stage play adaptation will be happening in Japan this summer.

The series follows the story of Yuji Itadori, a boy whose ordinary high school life is turned upside down when a series of events leads him to swallow the finger of an ancient, powerful curse by the name of Ryomen Sukuna. After becoming host to the King of Curses, he finds himself entangled within a secret organization of sorcerers whose goal is to rid the world of malignant curses born from negative human emotions.

Given the skyrocketing popularity of the series, we can only hope that more Funko Pop! waves for other beloved Jujutsu Kaisen characters will be on the way soon enough — (Yuta Okkotsu, anyone?!)
