‘Gotham Knights’ Releases First Look at Gameplay for Nightwing and Red Hood

WB Games Montréal released a new look at their game Gotham Knights, which centers around some of Batman’s most famous colleagues — Barbara Gordon, Jason Todd, Tim Drake, and Dick Grayson. The game follows the group as they work together trying to keep the city of Gotham safe after Batman’s tragic death.

In the video, game director Geoff Ellenor takes us through the mechanics and skillsets of Nightwing and Red Hood, how different each character is from the other, and how the players can find variability with all four of the group members. For example, Grayson has more agility-based melee combat since he is from the circus, while Todd’s combat is much more brutal and weapons-based. The game was initially scheduled to release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and all of the current generation platforms. However it seems now ahead of the release the game will only be available for current generation — PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Gotham Knights will release on October 25, 2022.
