‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’: James Gunn Shares Cast Photo As Filming Wraps
The Guardians of the Galaxy are returning to the cinematic screen for their third stand-alone film entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe next year, which means soon we’ll get to watch them once again “kick names and take ass.”
Filming for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which began November of last year, has been confirmed, has wrapped. To celebrate the occasion director James Gunn shared a photo of several of the cast members for the upcoming film.
The image shows the director alongside returning cast members Chris Pratt, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, and Sean Gunn. Gunn followed the above image with a quick reply featuring Zoe Saldaña, who is also reprising her role for the third Guardians film.
Missing from these photos are previously announced newcomers to the franchise Will Poulter, who will bring Adam Warlock to the screen, and Chukwudi Iwuji whose character remains unknown. It is entirely possible, as well, that there remain to be additional members of the cast who haven’t been announced.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has a current theatrical release date of May 5, 2023. Stay tuned with Nerds & Beyond as news for this film comes to light.
