‘Kung Fu’: ‘Supernatural’ Stars Richard Speight, Jr. and Briana Buckmaster Will Reunite

Good news for Supernatural and Kung Fu fans! Richard Speight, Jr. and Briana Buckmaster are set to appear together on an upcoming episode of Kung Fu! Somehow, Buckmaster and Speight, Jr. never shared scenes together on Supernatural during its 15 season run. But both are fan favorites, playing Gabriel and Sheriff Donna Hanscum respectively. The actors confirmed the news in an Instagram post.

Speight, Jr. has already worked on several episodes of Kung Fu as a director, reuniting with Supernatural writer and producer Robert Berens who is now an executive producer on Kung Fu. Buckmaster was one of the leads on Berens’ potential Supernatural spin-off Wayward Sisters, which was unfortunately not picked up to series in 2018.

There is no word yet on when the duo’s episode will air, but Kung Fu season 2 returns tonight at 9 p.m. ET on The CW. You can find our other coverage of the series here
