‘9-1-1’: Bryce Durfee Cast in Recurring Role

Share

Ahead of 9-1-1‘s midseason return next month, the FOX series has cast Bryce Durfee in a recurring role, temporarily replacing someone at the 118.

Via an exclusive from Deadline, Durfee, who’s appeared in The Bold and the Beautiful, will portray Jonah Greenway, the 118’s newest paramedic who is filling in for Chimney while he has been trying to track down baby mama Maddie. According to the character description, while Jonah is bright, observant and has a “low tolerance for BS,” Hen has been having trouble accepting him. Though it’s not too surprising considering how close she and Chim are.

Currently it’s not known how many episodes Bryce Durfee will be in, but with Jennifer Love Hewitt and Kenneth Choi back on the 9-1-1 set, it may not be for long. However, depending on Eddie’s new job situation, there could be a more permanent place for Jonah at the firehouse.

New episodes of 9-1-1 premiere on Monday, March 21 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on FOX! Check out our other 9-1-1 coverage here.
