CBS medical drama Good Sam is expanding its cast to include Victoria Rowell in a key recurring role!

Rowell, who created and stars in The Rich & The Ruthless, will play high-powered hospital board chairwoman Tina Kingsley, according to a Deadline exclusive. If her name sounds familiar, it’s because she is the mother of Malcolm Kingsley and the wife of Byron Kingsley, so that family is plenty powerful. Her character description notes that she has a strong will to take whatever is in her sights, even when it comes to “navigating complicated relationships from her past.”

Aside from The Rich & The Ruthless, Victoria Rowell can be seen in Diagnosis Murder and Dumb and Dumber. She has impressively won an NAACP Image Award 11 times for The Young and the Restless, for which she also nominated for three Daytime Emmy Awards.

New episodes of Good Sam return this Wednesday, February 23 at 10 p.m. ET/9 p.m. CT on CBS! Check out our other Good Sam coverage here.
