After a brief tease on Disney+ Day 2021, audiences can finally look forward to seeing the world trailer premiere for Marvel Studios’ upcoming Disney+ series Moon Knight next week. It has been confirmed that the trailer will drop on Monday, January 17 during the NFL Super Wild card matchup on ESPN/ABC.

Directed by Mohamed Diab, Moon Knight is a globetrotting action-adventure series featuring a complex vigilante — Marc Spector aka Moon Knight (Oscar Isaac) — who suffers from dissociative identity disorder. The multiple identities who live inside him find themselves thrust into a deadly war of the gods against the backdrop of modern and ancient Egypt.

Watch the announcement clip below, which features a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it head-on glimpse of Moon Knight in costume, and a look at Ethan Hawke’s character as well.

A release date for Moon Knight has not yet been confirmed. Stay tuned for more news.
