Nominees for the 2022 People’s Choice Awards — an award show which garners votes from the general public to celebrate the best in movies, television, music, and pop culture — were revealed this morning. Marvel Studios’ hit mind-bending series Moon Knight received two nods of recognition.

Moon Knight follows Steven Grant (Oscar isaac), a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, who becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life. Steven discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc’s enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a deadly mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.

The show was nominated in the following categories:

  • Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show of 2022
  • Male TV Star of 2022 – Oscar Isaac

Winners of the People’s Choice Awards, which are to be hosted by Kenan Thompson, will be announced on Tuesday, December 6 on NBC and E!. Voting is now open.

All six episodes of Moon Knight are now streaming exclusively on Disney+, along with the behind-the-scenes special episode of Marvel Studios: Assembled. Catch up on all of our coverage on the series, including our review, episodic recaps, and more.
