Nominees for the 2022 People’s Choice Awards — an award show which garners votes from the general public to celebrate the best in movies, television, music, and pop culture — were revealed this morning. Marvel Studios’ hit mind-bending series Moon Knight received two nods of recognition.

Moon Knight follows Steven Grant (Oscar isaac), a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, who becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life. Steven discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc’s enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a deadly mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.

The show was nominated in the following categories:

  • Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show of 2022
  • Male TV Star of 2022 – Oscar Isaac

Winners of the People’s Choice Awards, which are to be hosted by Kenan Thompson, will be announced on Tuesday, December 6 on NBC and E!. Voting is now open.

Isaac recently participated in his first ever spotlight panel at New York Comic Con, during which he discussed various aspects of his extensive film career, including his work on Moon Knight.
