‘West Side Story’ Nominated for Four Golden Globes

The Golden Globes announced their nominees this morning, with West Side Story scoring four nominations! The film will compete for Best Director (Steven Spielberg), Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy (Rachel Zegler), Best Supporting Actress, Motion Picture (Ariana DeBose), and Best Picture, Musical or Comedy.

Both Zegler and DeBose are first time nominees, while Spielberg is up for his 23rd and 24th nomination overall (with this being his 10th for Best Director). The awards will be announced on January 9, 2022 at a ceremony to be announced later.
