First Look at New Disney+ Series ‘Tiana’ Revealed

Fans of The Princess and the Frog will be jumping for joy at this Disney+ announcement! A brand new original series that will follow Princess Tiana’s life after the events of the popular movie was announced on Disney+ Day.

Tiana will be written and directed by the amazingly talented Stella Meghie. Carrying on the legacy of The Princess and the Frog, the show will be a musical series. With music playing such an important role in the original film, the unique jazz soundtrack could easily carry over to the series. Viewers will follow Tiana as she heads off on her next adventure! The movie ended with her being married and finding herself the newly crowned Princess of Maldonia. Tiana also accomplished her biggest dream and opened her own restaurant. As she learns how to navigate this exciting new world will she forget her roots in New Orleans?

The first concept art released shows Tiana excitedly running on a boat with some colorful shadows behind her. Perhaps this shadows might be a hint at some friends from the other side.
