‘Cheaper by the Dozen’ and ‘Disenchanted’ Coming to Disney+ in 2022

Disney revealed today details regarding its upcoming releases Cheaper by the Dozen and the long-awaited sequel to Enchanted, titled Disenchanted. Both films will be released on Disney+, with Cheaper by the Dozen scheduled for March 2022 and Disenchanted for Fall 2022.

Cheaper by the Dozen will star Zach Braff and Gabrielle Union. The film centers on a multiracial, blended family of 12 navigating a hectic home life while managing their family business. Cheaper By the Dozen is written by Kenya Barris and Jenifer Rice-Genzuk Henry and directed by Gail Lerner.

The follow-up to the 2007 hit Enchanted, Disenchanted continues to follow the story of Giselle, a cartoon princess plopped into modern day New York City. The film continues Giselle’s jorney as she continues to navigate the live-action world and all its magic and surprises. Disenchanted includes many of the original cast members with Amy Adams returning as Giselle, Patrick Dempsey as Robert with Idina Menzel and James Marsden also returning. Song writer Alan Menken returns as well. He is known for writing the Oscar nominated songs from original, which include “Happy Working Song,” “So Close” and “That’s How You Know.”
