Disney+ Day is in full swing and Marvel Studios has confirmed previous rumors of an Agatha Harkness series!
Last month, unofficial reports came out about a new Disney+ series surrounding everyone’s new favorite villain from the Emmy-winning series WandaVision. Those reports included Kathryn Hahn returning to play her sensational character as well as the return of WandaVision‘s Jac Schaeffer to write and executive produce. Disney has confirmed both Hahn and Schaeffer’s involvement in the project.
No other details beyond confirmation of the series were released, but we certainly have some hopes for what an Agatha series might entail. A deep dive into her colorful history as a witch during the Salem witch trials (and long before in the comics) would make for an absolutely incredible story, but perhaps they’ll take a more modern approach and follow the witch as Wanda Maximoff starts setting off her radar. More hints at what could occur in the series may be revealed in Wanda’s next appearance Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness. Either way, we can’t wait to see Hahn return in the Marvel Universe. Hopefully, it comes with another catchy jingle, too.
