The episode will coincide with Shang-Chi‘s release onto the streaming platform after its theatrical run, including a release in IMAX expanded ratio aspect along with 12 other Marvel films.

Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings was one of the biggest premieres as the theater biz begins to climb out of the COVID-19 pandemic lull. The film has brought in over $400 million worldwide since its September release. It also boasts Marvel’s highest Rotten Tomato-rated project of 2021.

The film starred Simu Liu as the titular character, Awkwafina as Katy, Meng’er Zhang as Xialing, with Michelle Yeoh as Ying Nan, and Tony Leung as Xu Wenwu, Shang-Chi’s father, as well as Fala Chen, Florian Munteanu, Benedict Wong, Yuen Wah, Ronny Chieng, Zach Cherry, and Dallas Liu.

Stay tuned for more news out of Disney+ week including more on upcoming Marvel and Star Wars projects along with other announcements!
