Star Trek celebrated its 55th birthday last night with a live celebration at the Skirball Center in Los Angeles. The event brought out a huge roster of past, present, and upcoming Trek stars. One of the stars of the night was Geordi La Forge himself, LeVar Burton. He jokes about the need for “more aliens” and “more cowbell” in Star Trek, his favorite Geordi meme, and the importance of family to Star Trek.
