‘The Witcher’ Season 2 Coming to Netflix December 17
Hopefully you’ve been saving up your coins, because The Witcher Season 2 has an official release date!
As part of the first-ever WitcherCon, Netflix revealed that Season 2 of The Witcher will come to Netflix December 17, which means fans of the show will get to enjoy a very Merry Witchmas once again nearly two years after the release of season 1 on December 20, 2019.
Season 2 will continue the stories of beloved characters Geralt of Rivia (Henry Cavill), Cirilla (Freya Allan), Yennefer Vengerberg (Anya Chalotra), Jaskier (Joey Batey), and more while introducing a variety of newness. Season 2 of the Netflix original promises to bring in more of what the Continent has to offer: new characters (particularly new Witchers), new locations, and new monsters!
Season 2 will feature eight episodes, and while they couldn’t reveal the names for all eight, Netflix did reveal the names for the first seven episodes: “A Grain of Truth,” “Kaer Morhen,” “What Is Lost,” “Redanian Intelligence,” “Turn Your Back,” “Dear Friend,” and “Voleth Meir.” Be sure to check out the video below that features the episode titles and hunt for the hidden clues!
Give season 1 a re-watch before season 2 makes it’s way to Netflix, and check back in later for a WitcherCon recap following the second stream!
