Zachary Quinto and Jacob Elordi have been cast to star in the true crime thriller He Went That Way.

Taking place in 1964, the film is inspired by Conrad Hilberry’s book Luke Karamazov and first hand accounts by Pitts, the lone survivor of serial killer Larry Lee Ranes. Based on famed animal trainer Dave Pitts and his famous TV chimp Spanky, it will chart the course of Pitts’ three day encounter with Ranes. Quinto will play Jim Goodwin who is based on Pitts, and Elordi will play Bobby Falls, based on Ranes.

Filming is expected to begin in California in the Fall. Stay tuned for updates.
