James Bay has been teasing new projects for quite some time, and news of one has finally been released! Bay was most recently featured on Maisie Peters’ new song “Funeral” from the upcoming soundtrack for season 2 of Trying, an original series from Apple TV+.

“All Jason and Nikki want is a baby, but it’s the one thing they just can’t have. So, they decide to adopt. With their dysfunctional friends, screwball family, and chaotic lives will the adoption panel think they’re ready to be parents?”
“Funeral” is the first song to be released from the soundtrack. The song can be found on a multitude of platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and more. We can’t wait to see what else artists Maisie Peters and veteran James Bay have in store in the future in the way of new music. Season 2 of Trying will be available on Apple TV+ on May 21.
