Naomi is an upcoming pilot from The CW that follows its title character, Naomi McDuffie, a teenager who journeys from her small town to the vast multiverse. When a supernatural event rocks her town, she sets out to discover its origins, challenging our beliefs of superheroes.
The show stars Kaci Walfall as Naomi, Cranston Johnson, Alexander Wraith, Camila Moreno, Mouzam Makkar, Barry Watson, Daniel Puig, Aidan Gemme, and Mary-Charles Jones.
Naomi is based on the comic series by Brian Michael Bendis, Jamal Campbell, and David F. Walker. It is currently in development with Ava DuVernay and Jill Blankenship, who will write and executive produce. Sarah Bremner and Paul Garnes will executive produce, with Amanda Marsalis set to direct.
