New Trailers Released for ‘In The Heights’ Film Adaptation

After dropping six stunning new posters yesterday, the film adaptation of Lin Manuel Miranda’s Broadway hit In The Heights surprised everyone by dropping not one, but two new trailers!

Based on the Broadway musical of the same name, the film is directed by Crazy Rich Asians director John Chu and produced by its creator Lin Manuel Miranda. Set to drop on HBO Max and in theaters on June 18, In The Heights pulls from Miranda’s own experiences growing up to tell the story of three exciting days in New York City’s Dominican American neighborhood Washington Heights. Starring Miranda himself as well as his fellow Hamilton star Anthony Ramos alongside Ariana Greenblatt (Stuck In the Middle) and Stephanie Beatriz (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) among others, In The Heights looks to be one of 2021’s biggest films.

The new trailer gives us a peak into the world of Washington Heights, as well as the wonderful characters living there. Each new look we get at this film is full of color and vibrancy, alongside Miranda’s signature style that the whole world came to love in Hamilton and Moana.

Be sure to check out the new trailers below, and keep an eye open here for future news and updates about In The Heights.
