As we await the imminent arrival of the action-packed thriller SAS: Red Notice, there’s something else to look forward to as well — Lakeshore Records’ release of the film’s beautiful original soundtrack.
SAS: Red Notice, which is based on the best-selling novel by Andy McNab, follows the story of a special forces operator named Tom Buckingham (Sam Heughan) as he’s taking his girlfriend Dr. Sophie Hart (Hannah John-Kamen) to Paris to propose to her. Their plans are derailed when their train is seized by Grace Lewis (Ruby Rose) and the Black Swans, a private military company. Hundreds of passengers are held hostage as the train sits deep within the Channel Tunnel, and Grace threatens to expose the British government’s darkest secrets and blow up the tunnel if her ransom demands aren’t met. Unarmed and cut off from his counter terror team, Tom is the last hope for the passengers to make it out alive. SAS: Red Notice also stars Andy Serkis, Tom Hopper, Tom Wilkinson, and Noel Clarke.
This compelling film features an emotional, tension-filled soundtrack by Emmy Award and IFMCA-nominated composer Benji Merrison (Meerkat—A Dynasties Special, The Beatles in India), which effortlessly guides the fast-paced thrill ride of SAS: Red Notice. The 39-track SAS: Red Notice—Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is set to release digitally this Friday, March 12.
Ahead of this release, Nerds and Beyond has an exclusive track from the album to share with our readers a couple of days early! See below to listen to “SAS The Suite.”

McNab, who also serves as a producer on the film, said this about Merrison’s soundtrack, “Benji’s score is brilliant, especially the ‘psychopathic strings,’ which do an amazing job of enveloping the audience in that unique mindset. Give it a listen.”
Alongside the release of its soundtrack, the film itself will be available through Sky Cinema in the UK and Ireland on March 12 as well. Viewers in the United States and Canada will see a release from Vertical Entertainment and Redbox Entertainment in theaters and on premium VOD the following week on March 16.
Stay tuned for our upcoming interview with Merrison and our review of the film. In the meantime, sure to check out our interviews with SAS: Red Notice stars Ruby Rose and Tom Hopper.
