With just under a month to go until the premiere of the long-awaited limited series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, a new assortment of stills has been released.

Picking up in the aftermath of the epic blockbuster Avengers: Endgame, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will follow the exploits of Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson and Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes. After making a bold choice to alter his life trajectory, a much older Steve Rogers passed on his iconic vibranium shield to Sam in the conclusion of Endgame‘s final battle. Now, this six-episode series will find Sam and Bucky on a global adventure that will test both their abilities and their patience.

There isn’t anything overtly new to be gained plot-wise from these photos, as we already knew that Sam and Bucky would be joined by Emily VanCamp’s Sharon Carter. However, it’s worth noting that we’re once again seeing a shot of Sam in a suit and looking at the shield with a serious expression (a different yet similar scene was shown in the trailer, in which he also looks back at a banner of Steve as Captain America), and it feels a bit ominous … to say the least.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on Friday, March 19.
