Party on, dudes! Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and Bogus Journey are hitting HBO Max next month.
Starting February 27 the films, co-created and written by Ed Solomon and Chris Matheson, will be available to stream. While the latest film and conclusion to the journey, Face the Music will not be accompanying them, it’s still the perfect excuse to dive into the nostalgia.
Excellent Adventure follows Bill S. Preston Esquire (Alex Winter) and Ted Logan (Keanu Reeves) who are two teenagers that are in desperate need of passing their oral history report. If they don’t pass, they will be split up and since their band Wyld Stallyns are the foundation of the future, an emissary from the future, Rufus, lends them a phone booth that will take them back in time to collect notable historical figures and pass their report.
In Bogus Journey, the two have found themselves stuck in Hell. Literally. After coming face to face with Death (and their evil robot counterparts) they must outsmart The Reaper and traverse through Heaven as well as Hell to get back to the land of the living and perform at the all important battle of the bands.
Bill & Ted Face the Music is available on-demand, digital, and blu ray. Click here for all of the current available streaming options.
