Disney+ has announced the entire run of The Muppet Show is coming to the streaming service on February 19.
This is exciting news for fans of the classic show, as the fourth and fifth seasons have, according to Disney, “never previously been released on home entertainment.” The first three seasons have been readily available for purchase on DVD for years, but the final two seasons have been essentially unseen since they first aired close to 40 years ago. The show originally aired from 1976 to 1981, and featured guest appearances from pop culture icons including Steve Martin, Elton John, Julie Andrews, and Mark Hamill, just to name a few.
