WATCH: Pedro Pascal and Kristen Wiig Talk ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ on ‘Good Morning America’
Two of the stars of the upcoming film Wonder Woman 1984 — Pedro Pascal and Kristen Wiig — made an appearance on Good Morning America today.
The sequel to the hit 2017 film Wonder Woman fast forwards to the 1980s, and it sees Diana (Gal Gadot) face off against two new foes: Max Lord (Pascal) and Cheetah (Wiig). After some COVID-related release date shuffling, Wonder Woman 1984 is now due to arrive on HBO Max and in theaters on Christmas Day.
In this morning’s interview, Pascal and Wiig discussed why they think that Wonder Woman 1984 is resonating with audiences and how the context of the film is relevant right now, and Wiig touched on the training that she went through for the role. A brief teaser clip from a scene between Max Lord and Barbara Ann Minerva was also shown.
