Treat Yo’ Self (and Maybe Your Friends) With Literally the Best ‘Parks and Recreation’ Gift Guide Ever

The holiday season is among us, and the last thing we need in 2020 is the stress of searching for the perfect gifts for friends and family. If you have a Parks and Recreation fan in your life, look no further. Below are a few recommendations of Parks and Rec themed gifts that will bring some cheer to your holidays.

Enamel Pins

First up are a selection of enamel pins, because who doesn’t love a good pin? From The Colorful Geek on Etsy are pins honoring Li’l Sebastian with “5000 Candles in the Wind” and Leslie Knope’s Pawnee Goddesses. You can purchase “5000 Candles” separately here and “5000 Candles” or Pawnee Goddesses individually (slightly imperfect and still amazing) here. The shop also has a Mouse Rat pin, so you can always represent your favorite band. If jazz is more your style, the Etsy shop Pinnacle Goods created one for Ron Swanson’s smooth alter ego Duke Silver, available to buy here. Last but certainly not least, you can choose from JJ’s Diner and/or Cones of Dunshire pins from Doodle Art on Etsy. These two make a perfect set, as they represent both Ben and Leslie.

Li’l Sebastian, Pawnee’s most beloved mini-horse, is up in horsey heaven, but his legacy lives on with a commemorative shirt from Pawnee’s Harvest Festival, the first time we meet the world’s most amazing animal. The t-shirt is a must-have for any Li’l Sebastian stan’s wardrobe and will be the envy of literally everybody. Grab a Li’l Sebastian tee here.

Themed Colored Pencils

Whether you or the person you’re buying for enjoys drawing/coloring, these delightfully punny colored pencils are just too good to pass up. Created by PopColorsCo on Etsy, these clever pencils feature your standard colors, but with a twist: they’re each named after something related to the show (I mean … of course). Some of the colors include “The Pit” (classic), “Duke Silver” (a personal favorite), “Tann Perkins,” “This Is Literally Blue” (definitely Chris Traeger’s favorite color), “Cherry Gergich,” and more. Buy a box of the aptly named Colors and Recreation here. While you’re at it, you can also buy a coloring and activity book to pair with the colored pencils here.

Waffle Necklace

Every Parks and Recreation fan knows that the one thing Leslie Knope might love more than her job (and Ben, of course) is a big fluffy waffle from JJ’s Diner smothered in whipped cream. So, why not purchase this miniature waffle necklace for the Leslie Knope and waffle enthusiast in your life? As featured in the show, this cute necklace is recreated by the Etsy shop tinyhands. It’s the perfect addition to any and all outfits and a wonderful ode to one of the best breakfast foods around. Purchase the necklace here.

The Swanson Pyramid of Greatness

Life can be confusing. There’s no doubt about that. However, with the Swanson Pyramid of Greatness, everything will make a little more sense. Developed over the course of many years, Ron Swanson’s Pyramid of Greatness is all you need to reach maximum personal achievement, and now you can own the Pyramid in poster form. It’s a great reminder and go-to for anyone looking for a little more direction in life. Purchase an 18×24 version of the poster here.

Quote Mash-Up Blanket

As we finally get into colder weather, there’s nothing cozier than curling up on the couch with a blanket and queuing up your favorite Parks and Rec episodes. What better way to get comfy than by wrapping up in this sherpa blanket from NBC that features some of the most iconic quotes from the show. The blanket is available in three different colors and can be purchased here.

Stickers

Need to spice up your laptop or add to the collection of stickers you can’t commit to actually sticking anywhere? If you answered yes to one or both of those questions, these Parks and Rec stickers are the #1 choice. Up first from Redbubble artist mkunze is a must-have Burt Macklin (FBI) and Janet Snakehole (a very rich widow with a terrible secret) vinyl sticker. Another Redbubble option comes from J. Elizabeth, who offers a variety pack of vinyl stickers that feature Leslie Knope in various and very relatable moods, which you can find here. On Etsy, Flamboyant Flamingo Co sells a variety of themed stickers from the show. They feature the best non-breakfast food (calzones, duh), Sweetums, Li’l Sebastian, Entertainment 720, and more. Find the one featured in the photo above here, and the second option of stickers here.

Cones of Dunshire

If Ben Wyatt taught us one thing, it’s that life is all about the cones. Well … maybe not life, but certainly his infamous Cones of Dunshire board game. Though we aren’t able to play the game itself just yet, there’s plenty of merch to hold us over. From BearMittensClothing on Etsy is this Cones of Dunshire mug available in 11 oz. or 15 oz. Up next is a Cones of Dunshire crewneck sweatshirt from NBC available here in gray or red that’s perfect for cooler weather. Finally, a Cones of Dunshire t-shirt created by DumbShirts on Etsy that features another variation of the game’s logo.
