Ten new Star Wars series were announced on Thursday during Disney’s Investor Day event. One of the new announcements is something we haven’t seen in the Star Wars universe yet, a mystery-thriller series.
Star Wars: The Acolyte will be set in the final days of the High Republic era, which takes place before any of the movies. Star Wars fans will get to explore the a “galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark-side powers.”

Lucasfilm is also exploring this era within the Star Wars timeline with its new publishing campaign, The High Republic, set to be released next month. As of right now, there is no set date on when Star Wars: The Acolyte will be released on Disney+.
