Time to grab your whips and hats. Indiana Jones is coming back for more adventures. The next film, which will be the fifth in the franchise, is rumored to have a July 2022 release. This will also be the final film for the franchise and will see Stephen Spielberg as a producer and James Mangold directing. The last one, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, was released in 2008.
Lucasfilm is in pre-production on the next installment of Indiana Jones. At the helm is James @Mang0ld, director of Ford v Ferrari, and Indy himself, Harrison Ford, will be back to continue his iconic character’s journey. Adventure arrives July 2022.

As far as casting, Harrison Ford will be reprising Indy, the archeologist adventurer who treks the world for artifacts. It is not known if Chris Pratt, who has been rumored, is joining the cast. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
