‘Shang-Chi’ Coming to Theaters in 2021, ‘Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness’ Coming in 2022

Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness, the sequel to Marvel’s 2016 film Doctor Strange, is coming to theaters on March 25, 2022. Directed by Sam Raimi, the film will have ties to the next Spider-Man film as Doctor Strange is making a cameo as Peter’s newest mentor like Tony Stark and Nick Fury have previously done. The film will also tie into WandaVision which premieres early next year. The film stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Rachel McAdams, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez.

Not only that, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings has just wrapped filming with a packed cast that includes Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Tony Leung as Wenwu, Awkwafina as Katy, Meng’er Zhang as Xialing, Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Yan, Ronny Chieng as Jon Jon, Fala Chen as Jiang Li, and Florian Munteanu as Razor Fist. The film lands in theaters on July 9th, 2021.
