‘The Falcon and The Winter Soldier’ Trailer and Release Date Revealed!

The long-awaited Disney+ Marvel series, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, finally has an official trailer and a premiere date.

The show was originally set to premiere on Disney+ in August, but the timeline didn’t end up panning out because production was suspended back in March of this year due to COVID-19. Now, it has been revealed that the six-episode series will hit the streaming service on March 19, 2021.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier explores the story of the team-up of Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes. Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Steve Rogers made the decision to follow a different path for his life and went on to hand over his vibranium shield to Sam. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’s abilities and patience will both be tested as they set off on a worldwide adventure and face an array of challenges along the way.

The show will feature some other familiar faces, too, including Daniel Brühl as Baron Helmut Zemo and Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter. New characters will also be appearing in the series, namely Wyatt Russell as John Walker a.k.a. U.S. Agent, the U.S. government’s militaristic successor to Captain America.
