Mason Deaver Announces Christmas Sequel Short Story to ‘I Wish You All the Best’
Author Mason Deaver just announced their newest book, a sequel short story to their debut novel I Wish You All the Best, entitled I’ll Be Home for Christmas! Available on December 15, 2020, this 60-page story is about Ben and Nathan’s first Christmas together! The synopsis is as follows:
Ben has a plan for the ultimate Christmas present for Nathan. All it requires is taking a large golden retriever from one end of the country to the other. No pressure. When a snowstorm rocks the east coast sooner than expected, though, Ben is trapped at the airport, and suddenly all their plans for a perfect first Christmas with Nathan are on the line.
This book, edited, designed, and typeset by Hươngie, is free, but any proceeds will be donated to The Center For Transgender Equality, and anyone who donates $2 or more will receive a signed bookplate. In the first hour of the pre-order release, $300 was raised!
Though Scholastic published Deaver’s debut novel, this short story is their own passion project they created combined with the beautiful cover illustration by Alice Oseman. You can pre-order your Kindle or Epub versions here!
