Disney+ Releases Official Trailer for ‘Black Beauty’
Based on the beloved classic by Anna Sewell comes a new reimagining of Black Beauty from Disney. The modern-day retelling follows a wild horse who’s taken away from her family and brought to a new home, Birtwick Stables, where she meets Jo Green. Jo names the horse Black Beauty, and the two form a profound bond that changes both of them. The film stars Mackenzie Foy as Jo, Iain Glen, Claire Forlani, Calam Lynch, and Kate Winslet as the voice of Black Beauty. It was written and directed by Ashley Avis (Adolescence).
In anticipation of the film’s release, Disney+ has shared the official trailer. It shows a glimpse of the bond that forms between Jo and Beauty, as Jo is able to find a way to connect to the horse. We already see the impact that Beauty has on Jo’s life, as well as some of Beauty’s life. The trailer also showcases other characters we’ll meet along the way and the beautiful landscape that will be featured. Watch the trailer below.
Black Beauty will premiere on Disney+ on November 27.
