Grindstone Entertainment Will Distribute ‘Adverse’ Movie Starring Lou Diamond Phillips, Mickey Rourke, Sean Astin, and More!

Exciting news! Deadline announced recently that Grindstone Entertainment Group required the rights to the new film, Adverse, directed by Brian A. Metcalf. The “neo-noir thriller” features Lou Diamond Phillips, Mickey Rourke, Penelope Ann Miller, Thomas Nicolas, Kelly Arjen, and Sean Astin to name a few. Nicholas plays Ethan, a ride share driver that discovers his sister Mia (played by Arjen) is involved with “underworld boss” Kaden (played by Mickey Rourke) and with drugs and debt.

Here’s what Arjen, Metcalf, and Nicholas, who also serve as producers of the film, had to say about this new partnership:
