In a new 7-minute computer-generated short for Star Wars: Squadrons, EA gives fans across the galaxy a different look into the Rebellion and Empire’s battle. According to StarWars.com, Hunted tells the story of Imperial pilot Varko Grey during a failed mission after the second Death Star was destroyed.

It’s one of the few pieces of linear Star Wars storytelling that’s told from the Empire’s point of view and makes the audience feel strangely sympathetic for Varko.

Hunted follows Varko as he risks his life to save a squadmate then finds himself left behind by his commander. While stranded, an X-Wing pilot locates him, and the chase begins through the never-before-seen planet, Var-Shaa’s atmosphere, and terrain in an effort to survive. StarWars.com says players will be able to fly alongside Varko as part of the Titan Squadron in the game’s single-player story.
