Popular British YouTuber Daniel Howell has announced he’s written a brand new book, You Will Get Through This Night, all about mental health, which is something that he has openly dealt with. He first teased the book on Twitter over the weekend when he posted a quote with the book’s hashtag, then officially announced it Monday, along with a video.

The book is split into three chapters for each stage of the journey “to understand your mind so you can be in control and really live.”
- This Night – how to get through your toughest moments and be prepared for anything.
- Tomorrow – small steps to change your thoughts and actions with a big impact on your life.
- The Days After – to help look after yourself in the long term and not just survive, but thrive.
On Twitter, Howell said he’s written a book about understanding your mental health, “it’s deep it’s dark it’s personal it’ll make you laugh it’ll make you cry and it actually has profound professional advice that might completely change your life.” In 2017, he shared his story about having depression in a YouTube video titled “Daniel and Depression,” which not only opened himself up to his fans more but his fans could relate to him and understand what he’s going through and help others.
You Will Get Through This Night is available for pre-order now and is set to release on May 18, 2021. Any copies purchased through Howell’s official merch shop will be hand-signed and come with an exclusive bookmark.
