As part of the lead-up to the huge virtual premiere for the new movie This Is The Year, Nerds and Beyond sat down with Vanessa Marano and Lorenzo Henrie to discuss the film! Henrie, brother of director/writer David Henrie, talks about what it was like to work with his brother on the film. Marano discusses how her character challenges the stereotypical “best friend” role and the quirks that made Marano fall in love with her character. They also reminisce about filming and share what they hope audiences will take away from the film.
