Grim & Mild Entertainment, the audio production company founded by Aaron Mahnke, just announced their sixth and newest podcast: American Shadows. The podcast will be hosted by Lauren Vogelbaum, co-host of the podcast Savor and a writer and performer at HowStuffWorks. The episodes will be 30 minutes each and will be released every two weeks on Thursdays, starting August 13. During this Grim & Mild and iHeartRadio co-production, we’ll get to take a deep dive into the darkest parts of US history as described below:

Most history books are filled with people, places, and events that sit on lofty pedestals, but there’s a whole other side of American history that’s been forgotten and pushed into the shadows.

But while those stories might be a bit darker than the ones we heard about in school, they are no less valuable. American Shadows explores the lesser-known tales relegated to the dusty corners of US history, one journey at a time, in our signature Grim & Mild style.”

You can listen to the series on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, iHeartRadio, and Stitcher. Check out the trailer below!
