The Rolling Stones recently announced that Emmy-nominated actor Paul Mescal would be starring in their latest video, and the band has finally released it! “Scarlet” is a previously-unreleased track set to be included on the deluxe reissue of the classic album Goats Head Soup. Mescal dances and lip syncs through the empty halls in London’s famous Claridge’s Hotel as the song’s rock beat plays. The actor filmed the video himself in isolation, leading to some interesting camera angles as his character implores the unseen “Scarlet” to take him back while also drinking his worries away. Mescal also joined Mick Jagger to discuss the making of the video before it premiered (there’s no full interview online yet, but you can watch a clip below!).

Check out the full music video below! The deluxe edition of Goats Head Soup will be released September 4, and the single “Scarlet” is available now.
