A new episode of our favorite quarantine podcast is out today, and it brings us very happy news!

Episode 13 of …And My Guest is Richard Speight — aptly titled “The End of the Beginning” — finds Rob broadcasting from his own personal FarTunes studio and Rich still in Oregon. The episode’s description is simply, “It’s the end of an era.”

In the episode, Rob and Rich talk about Rob’s COVID-19 test, Rich’s stay in Oregon, Rich’s new career as a political commercial writer, and more.

It also features a special appearance from Steve, The Machete’s father.

Rob and Rich announced that episode 13 will be the last episode of the season. A new season is already in the works, and will be in the same format you know and love with some added embellishments. This new, rebranded version will include guests from various shows (we’ve been promised they’re fan favorites), have a new theme song, and be filmed for a new YouTube channel, so you’ll be able to watch this podcast if that’s your thing. If not, you can stick with your normal listening preference on whatever platform you’ve been using; it’ll be there in the same place. The podcast will be renamed Kings of Con: The Podcast and will bring us the voices of the convention. The first episode should be up next week!

We are very excited about this news and can’t wait to see and listen where Rob and Rich take us with this new adventure. Congrats on your promotion from guest to co-host, Rich!
