It has been a glorious week for musical theater fans everywhere since Hamilton has started streaming exclusively on Disney+. Many fans have either seen it for the first time ever or have at least seen the original cast perform it for the first time. Since then, they’ve probably seen it many times over and Hamilton fever has once again swept over social media, reminiscent of the first craze in 2015. While Disney+ hasn’t released an official number or viewer stats, the increase in the app being downloaded is an indicator that Hamilton was a big success for the streaming service. To feed the demand even more, Disney+ is releasing a new special look at Hamilton, its history, and process, as well as its success story.

From Friday, July 10, the streaming service will show a special called History Has Its Eyes On You. Hosted by Robin Roberts and featuring writer and star Lin-Manuel Miranda as well as several members of the original Broadway Cast, it will share stories, experiences, and personal looks back on the show that was a starting point of so many careers and movements.

Conny joined her first fandom at the tender age of three and somehow never stopped finding new things to obsess about and love. Her current love is everything Marvel, especially two characters who tend to be frozen at one point or the other. From Drag Race to Harry Potter or musical theatre, as long as it makes her smile (or cry), it’s probably her thing.
