UPDATE 6/4/2020: The appearance has been cancelled at this time.

With the launch of his new civic engagement website, A Starting Point, finally coming on Thursday, June 4, Chris Evans is heading for an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Monday, June 8!

A project announced in April of last year, A Starting Point is aiming to get the civil conversations going surrounding politics and voter issues. Evans and his team including actor/filmmaker Mark Kassen, and media/tech entrepreneur Joe Kiani, have spent countless hours in Washington DC getting answers to the questions that matter from the people who represent us. The site will feature brief and concise answers — around one minute each — about the issues facing the country and its voters today. Topics ranging from bipartisanship and gun control, to education and environmental matters and everything in between will be discussed from the elected officials who agreed to work on the project.

Along with the launch of his latest endeavor, Evans’ newest limited series, Defending Jacob, is available to stream in its entirety exclusively on Apple TV+. The series boasts great reviews and has the cast and creators predicted to earn a few award nominations. It follows a family as the navigate unfathomable circumstances, their 14-year-old  son is accused of murdering a classmate. It’s a raw, unhindered look at not only the legal system, but a family trying to hold themselves together.

You can catch Late Night with Seth Meyers every night at 12:35 a.m. EST. Catch Chris Evans and Houston Texans player JJ Watt on Monday, June 8!
