Avengers Assemble! We officially have an opening date for phase one of the Avenger Campus at Disney’s California Adventure.
Opening July 18, 2020, park-goers will be able to team up with various Avengers along with their allies in a fully immersed experience like no other.
Something to expect during opening is the attractions. Avengers Campus will be home to the Worldwide Engineering Brigade (WEB for short). WEB is all about how young innovators like Peter Parker are inventing new technology, showing us that we all can become superheroes.
WEB will house a new Spider-Man experience, the first Disney ride-through attraction to feature the famous superhero. While roaming through WEB during an open house, you will test drive their latest invention “Web-Slinger” vehicle, which allows you to be a web-slinger just like Spider-Man himself.
Avenger’s Campus will also be introducing Pym Test Kitchen. Inspired by Ant-Man and the Wasp, you will be able to “taste-test” items such as the “Quantum Pretzel” or the “Pym-ini” while older guests can enjoy various cocktails as well.
Last but certainly not least, there will be plenty of opportunities to meet some of your favorite superheroes. Black Widow, Ant-Man and The Wasp, Doctor Strange, the Guardians of the Galaxy, superheroes from Wakanda and Asgard, and Iron Man are but of the few members of the team you will be able to meet while roaming the campus.
Can you believe that is only phase one for the land? There is no information currently on phase two of the campus. However, we are excited to see what Marvel has in store for us.
