Fresh off a 34-city tour, American Authors has teamed up with Seeb to release a new single called “Best I Can.” The song blends the alternative rock style of American Authors with the upbeat, contemporary electronic/dance style Seeb brings to all their collaborations.

While being a great song to blast on a long car ride or just for the fun of it, “Best I Can” also includes sweet lyrics about someone supporting another person in the best way they know how, even if they feel they don’t match up to the way they view the person they love. One of my favorite lines from the song is “Oh I saw, oh I saw. The archangels they fell from the sky. They were falling right into your eyes. Oh I saw, oh I saw, you were made from the holiest one.”

American Authors is a Brooklyn-based alternative rock band, who earned fast recognition with their song “Best Day of My Life.” They currently have three full length albums, with Seasons being their latest. The band will also join OneRepublic and The Bergamot for a show at the Purcell Pavilion in Notre Dame, IN on April 25. Tickets are available here.

Seeb is a production duo based out of Norway who create a variety of different remixes for big artists, releasing their first in 2015 and earning a #1 track with their take on “Cut Me Loose” by Kiesza. Since then, they’ve collaborated with artists such as Imagine Dragons, OneRepublic, Bastille, and 5 Seconds of Summer. You can find their music on Spotify.
