Disney

Great news, Disney fans! Disney has announced that the European launch date for Disney+ has been brought forward a week. The streaming service was originally set to launch March 31 but will now arrive March 24.

Disney+ will become available in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria and Switzerland. It should also become available in other European countries including Belgium, the Nordics, and Portugal in summer 2020.

Pricing has been confirmed at £5.99/€6.99 monthly, which in the UK makes it the same price as a basic Netflix subscription. Disney+ can also be paid for annually at £59.99/€69.99.

Disney+ will allow subscribers to stream content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic. It gives fans exclusive access to series and films made specifically for Disney+ such as the hit series The Mandalorian, a series set in the Star Wars franchise. I can’t wait to be able to binge watch all my favorite Disney films and catch up on these great series I’ve been missing out on! Make sure you sign up to Disney+ to receive email updates.
