‘Final Fantasy VII Remake’ Delayed

Yoshinori Kitase, producer for Final Fantasy VII Remake, announced on the game’s official Twitter that the game will be slightly delayed. To give the development team more time to make sure the game is “in line with their vision”, the new release date has been set to April 10.

Originally slated for a March 3 release, this five-and-a-half week delay seems minor in the grand scheme of things, considering how long this game has been in development already. The team is understandably apologetic, and this was no doubt a hard decision to make. However, reactions from the fans of the franchise seem to be understanding, and there is no doubt that everyone will be happier for it when the finished product finally arrives.
