There’s only 10 days until Christmas, are you ready? Nerds and Beyond’s Christmas series is still in full swing and today we’re taking a stop in Arendelle to visit our favorite sisters, Anna and Elsa. Disney’s Frozen II has yet to cool down at the theaters, so it only made sense to highlight the Frozen holiday special.

A short film titled Olaf’s Frozen Adventure was released in 2017 and is currently available to watch on Disney+! With a brief runtime of 22 minutes, it’s the perfect little musical piece to enjoy right before the kids (or you) go to bed on Christmas Eve. Featuring the voices and characters we all love — Kristen Bell as Princess Anna, Idina Menzel as Queen Else, Josh Gad as Olaf, and Jonathon Groff as Kristoff — Olaf takes us on an adventure as he searches for traditions to cheer up Anna and Elsa after their planned kingdom-wide holiday celebration goes awry, with families instead heading home to enjoy their own traditions. Everything doesn’t quite go his way and Olaf’s seemingly unwavering optimism getting its best challenge yet. But Anna and Elsa remember a little tidbit about their childhoods, and the one piece that held them together throughout Elsa’s solitary confinement.

Just as you’d expect from the Disney/Frozen team, we get some great music, gorgeous animation, a few wisecracks from our favorite snowman, and another flawless outfit for Queen Elsa. For being such a short little piece, it packs a punch in driving home what really matters for the season — being together. Of course, what would any Frozen feature be without Sven the reindeer and Oaken, owner of Oaken’s Wandering Trading Post and Sauna (we finally get a little glimpse into that sauna), who both make appearances as well.

So if you’re still giddy over the release of Frozen II (like I am), don’t leave Olaf’s Frozen Adventure off your holiday film list and check it out on Disney+!
