‘Supernatural’ Fandom Raises $280,000 for Hurricane Survivors

September 13, the anniversary of the day Supernatural first aired fifteen years ago, is officially behind us and Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, and Misha Collins did some good.

To honor the last “Supernatural day” while the show is still on air, the trio partnered with Hot Topic for a commemorative shirt  with 100% of proceeds going to Collins’ charity Random Acts to benefit Hurricane Dorian survivors.

In a tweet today featuring Ackles, Collins revealed that the fandom raised $280,000 with the t-shirt campaign! Thank you to everyone who bought this shirt for an amazing cause.
