Today at D23, we learned even more details about the fully immersive experience currently being developed at DisneyWorld – Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.

The experience will begin much like the boarding of a cruise ship. Guests will check in all together, and board a launch pad which will then transport them to the main deck of the Halcyon, their home for the next two nights. Familiar Star Wars universe characters (and some new ones) walk the halls. You can explore many different parts of the ship, including the bridge, and guests are invited to check even the individual nooks in the ship, where they may run into some rebellious secret meetings. Each choice you make can vary your experience, making your stay completely unique.

The adventures and food are all included, and even the windows show the changing geography as the ship passes through galaxies. During their stay, guests will have a chance to do many activities, including a port day on Batu (aka, a trip to DisneyWorld’s Star Wars: Galaxy Edge park), and light saber training just like Luke Skywalker.
