Friends Of Random Acts (FORA) announced today their book drive to benefit Housing Works, an organization that fights to ensure “all people living with HIV/AIDS have access to quality housing, healthcare, HIV prevention, and treatment, among other lifesaving services.” Random Acts’ Executive Director Rachel Miner will also be in attendance.

The Book Drive will take place on Saturday, September 7 from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. EST at the Housing Works Bookstore Cafe, located in New York City. FORA is asking for books of all ages to be donated to support Housing Works. The bookstore itself is stocked entirely by donations and is nearly completely volunteer-run, and it sends 100% of its profits to fund Housing Works’ services.

If you’re in the NYC area on September 7, stop by the Housing Works Bookstore Cafe to help out a wonderful life-saving organization!
